Best iPhone and iTouch apps for mothers and children

If you a techie MOM are have already found as much an iTouch or iPhone a life-saver on entertainment of your children or killing time, if you wait for image or sitting in traffic/dr. appts. may be you can $1.99 per app also easy on the wallet, often around and sometimes there are also free "lite" versions. It is a great way to try out an app, before paying into something.

Here are ones that I have downloaded so far. Because I have an iTouch some things are just not as useful, because I have Internet connection during outside have. But I will be some who are for iPhones as well as useful. All you have to do is to search for it in the iTunes store.

New apps: non nützlich-- just fun! But you get easily bored of them...

Bubble wrap: So addicted like the real thing... ideal for children.

Liquid: Touch the screen, and it is how you will touch a pond. The water curls at the touch of the finger.

iSteam: the screen couples up and you can write images on it. People write nice way notes-such as a steamy love Note:)

Mini piano: a small piano that your kids tap tunes can in.

TicTacFree: I like playing this with my daughter (although I feel embarrassed, if she WINS!)

TouchPhysics Lite: You create shapes to other shapes move. Seems simple, but it's hard! A fun way to learn physics.

Tap tap revenge: Kind of like Guitar Hero, but you use your finger to tap the songs.

Air hockey: Looks like the real thing! The small screen however is limited.

Lie-scan: Supposedly can tell you if someone is lying... they put their finger on the screen and ask them a question. It measures their body temperature. It is not right, but has always been.

FOR CHILDREN

Tap Zoo: animal Flash cards for kids. It does to the sound of the animal. Ideal for 2 years old.

iWriteWords (Lite): children use a crab on the screen join the dots to create numbers/letters. Ideal for preschool level, to teach writing skills.

Bag of Phonics: even children teaches written as letters/numbers. But they sound from the letters for the children to.

Wheels on the bus: this is an award-winner-app. They came only with Itsy Bitsy Spider. More interactive than other children apps, it is a virtual "book" that goes along with the song. My favorite part is, if you make the windshield wipers "Swish Swish" go and wipe the raindrops. My kids love it.

Playpen pet: this is my absolute favorite app-for me and my children! Adopt a virtual pet, (up to 3) - rabbit, stone, cat, dog or Penguin. Play games to win money, you can use to buy food, toys, hygiene articles for your pet. Clean their poop, win to challenges and keep your pet happy. You may have to play even your pets with each other. Great graphics and awesome games. I'm just unhappy that the button "Reset all data" is as easy, click on. My daughter deleted everything, and I have to start again all. The frisbee is also frustrating. I am addicted!

TOURIST-INFO

Big oven: download recipes and find recipes. Great way to streamline your shopping lists recipes.

Flixster: find movies playing in your area.

iKidNY: an amazing NY Mommy created this app with the bathroom you will find easy / modify tables, u-Bahn lifts, kid-friendly restaurants, indoor/outdoor activities. WOW! Now you can go with ease in the city. I heard of her, that she app for NJ is developed, so stay tuned!

Other apps that I downloaded, but have not succeeded, yet-to-use: where Stylemixer, Trapster (find out where the police on the streets are hidden), distance (find anything in your proximity-better for iPhone users), iFart (play pranks on your friends), French and Korean apps.
